Outsource Consulting Services founder
Sandra Floyd’s interest and eventual ownership of a staffing
agency began somewhat as a fluke. While owning and operating a
bridal shop, a friend at a temporary staffing agency asked her
to help recruit. From her office at the bridal shop, Floyd
soon placed 40 consultants at a digital company. Two years
later, she incorporated Outsource, but she kept the bridal
shop open for another two years. Her clients have included
PacBell, Wells Fargo, and Lockheed Martin. Last year, Floyd
purchased a new building in Oakland, which will provide double
the space for her company.
